2005 Mustang - o yea I want one

Welcome to my Mustang Page

I wanted to make a Mustang page, because I have loved this car ever since 1968 when I sat in my friends 67 white Mustang during lunch break at the high school parking lot to smoke a cigarette . I remember that the radio worked without the ignition key.

I bought a 1970 mustang for my son's first car in 1985. In 1995 I bought a brand new black 2 door, then traded that in for a new silver one in 2000. I believe I will get a new 2005 model when they are available.

The Mustang by Ford Motor Co. is a classic car with a long history. the fact that it is made in America suits me fine. The looks of the car is sleek and muscular. 35 years of engineering are in this car to refine the qualities. The interior is arranged to wrap around my space to be an extension of me, like a cockpit of a rocket. The high end sound system puts me in the zone, though I rarely drive the freeway with the music to keep aware of the Houston traffic. I hate the seatbelts! Women like Mustangs.control!

I change the oil every three months and replace the tires every other year. The other fluids get changed every year as well. I keep it clean by hand washing in warm weather and using a vacumn cleaner once a week. The birds get me POd sometimes about it. I heard that when the odometer reaches 60000 miles to do 4 things. 1) change the PVC valve 2) change the fuel filter 3) have the fuel injector system flushed out 4) change the spark plugs. I followed that advice. When you change the oil is a good time to see if a new air filter is needed. Keep the tires filled with compressed air (30PSI).

Since I live in Baytown, and drive 35 miles to Houston 5 times a week I put 25,000 miles on it a year. This hour a day is spent in the cozy comfort of my Mustang. It takes me where I want to go...

The cost is high with the monthly payments to the bank, yearly licence tags, safety sticker, gas, parking, oil, and the occasional ticket I get. That is neccesary to live and work in this day and age. Might as well drive in style.

I never race my car, but it is sure fun to watch. Some other Mustang Sites--> | MustangTuning.com | Mustang & Fords Magazine | Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords
